Research Focus

I am primarily interested in research questions lying at the nexus of institutional development and resource management. My research agenda focuses on collective action institutions for natural resource and public good management and the causes and effects of migration and demographic diversity. Methodologically, I often prioritize a mixed-methods approach, which is largely inspired by my extensive training at Indiana University’s Ostrom Workshop. My research has been published in journals, such as World Development, the Journal of Development Studies, and the International Journal of the Commons.
