Congratulations, Wellesley College Class of 2024!
Wellesley celebrated the red class of 2024 along with their families and friends at Wellesley’s 146th commencement exercises on Friday, May 17, 2024. Commencement speaker Michelle Au ’99—a member of the Georgia House of Representatives and a physician, author, and gun safety advocate—urged the class to reject cynicism and find common ground with people from differing viewpoints in order to make a better world.

Alla L. Epsteyn, senior lecturer in Russian, Sharon M. H. Gobes, associate professor of neuroscience, and Olga Shurchkov ’01, professor of economics, were awarded the Pinanski Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
