Puerto Rican saxophonist and composer Jonathan Suazo brings his RICANO album to Wellesley College! Named the #6 Jazz Album of 2023 by The New York Times, RICANO showcases the Afro-Caribbean musical experience.

With music influenced by artists including Miguel Zenón and John Coltrane, Suazo and his ensemble take audiences on a musical journey into the authentic expression of Puerto Rican and Dominican roots. They seamlessly blend Afro-Caribbean styles with jazz and other genres, creating a lively, accessible, and fun way for everyone to share in their culture.
