The Caribbean Exposition, also known as EXPO, is an annual on-campus event hosted by Wellesley for Caribbean Development (WiCkeD). Its intent is to promote Caribbean cultures and its diasporas, uplift and support Caribbean organizations and educate the wider Massachusetts population of the region’s rich and varying cultures and its influence in World history. It is also a moment to recognize and emphasize the value of Caribbean faculty and staff at Wellesley College. EXPO is a unique moment of self-expression and pride for our presenters. The Culture show is composed of: informational panels, guest speakers, fashion shows, art performances, a small pop-up shop, food catering and a fundraiser. Participants include Wellesley students, off campus organizations and off campus guests. EXPO is known to be a fun and vibrant time for all involved.
