Marcia Robinson (she/her) is excited to join the Career Education’s Civic Engagement team at Wellesley. A self-described lifelong optimist, collaborator and creative thinker she also has over 25 years of diverse corporate and non-profit management experience.  A Manhattanville College alumni with a major in Biology and Philosophy, she has worked in the financial services industry, elementary education and travel industries. As an advocate for social justice she serves as a civic advisor and mentor for youth organizations making positive change in our communities both locally and around the globe.

Marcia has led service learning journeys to the Bahamas, Haiti, India, South Africa and domestically to Louisiana and in her home state of Massuchesetts. She looks forward to working with the next generation of student leaders as they embark upon their journey at Wellesley and beyond.

She proudly represents her diverse heritage as a Jamaican-Chinese immigrant and credits her parents with instilling the values of kindness, compassion and a ‘leave it better than you found it’ life philosophy.
