Research opportunities you won’t have anywhere else
Research opportunities at Wellesley are more like those at a major research university than a typical liberal arts college. Over your four years, you could work alongside faculty to conduct graduate-level research, co-author articles, and present at national conferences. Our faculty receive more research funding than their peers at other liberal arts colleges, and Wellesley students are key contributors to that research enterprise.

A globally connected education
The Wellesley experience takes you beyond the borders of our stunning campus. We partner with MIT, Olin College of Engineering, Babson College, and Brandeis University. Our students study abroad and intern in more than 40 countries. Global engagement is our way of being. It’s how we teach, learn, think, and connect.
Academic advising
When it comes to your academic success, we’re there for you at every step of your journey. We will build up your strengths, help you overcome hurdles, and encourage you to grow and develop new learning strategies.
From day one of your first year, you will be guided and supported by an advisor who listens to your goals and helps you think through course selection, degree requirements, and how best to pursue your interests.
After you select your major and possible minor, you are assigned an academic advisor in your field who will remain with you through graduation. And of course, the faculty who teach you are actively involved in mentoring you, adding another layer of support—and motivating you to be your best.
In fact, there’s a team of people supporting you both academically and personally, led by our class deans—advisors and mentors who work closely with faculty and staff—through all four years.

The PLTC offers peer tutoring, supplemental instruction, and study skills instruction whenever you need it.
